A delightful afternoon of musical discourse and performances. Continuing the African Concert Series, Gabriel Prokofief (Nonclassical) and Rebeca Omordia (African Concert Series) collaborating on the ‘African Classical Festival’ are joined by Bex Burch, Blasio Kavuma, Afla Sackey and Tunde Jegede at a panel discussion on (re)defining classical music. It was followed by scintillating performances by the duo of Afla and Bex, and the Krar Collective raising the roofs with Ghanaian and Ethiopian classical music respectively.
