“I found my soul mate. I found the one to complete my better part to be the best. I found Nardia. This is for life”. Franklyn Frantos (Jnr)
Late in the spring of 2022, and while Autumn is not too far away, two prominent African Diaspora families, the Frantos from the Lafiaji area of Lagos Island, Nigeria, and the Jalloh Pyne families from Siera Leone came together to give blessings to two of their children who became one in Marriage.
The two families in the presence of other family extended members, friends, and wellwishers witnessed the joining together in holy matrimony of their son, Engineer Franklyn Temiloluwa Akanji Frantos (Jnr and Nardia Jalloh-Pyne.
The two-day wedding attracted important dignitaries from far and near. The day was so special and the weather lenient as there was no single drop of rain (unusual with UK weather), the sun showed brightly in its glory. Not too hot, hash, or bunning on the flesh. The first event was the traditional Nihkai/Engagement. These took place at the bride’s family’s London home and a posh event hall in East London.
On the 4th of June 2022, at the Nihkai, the groom’s family was welcomed with the Saro/Fulani traditional songs and cultural display. The Nihkai ceremony was then carried out by the Chief Imam of the Old Kent Central mosque Alhaji Yusuf supported by other clerics.
The civic ceremony then took place on the 9th of June at an Exquisite Essex palatial castle-like countryside estate where other friends and families who were unable to make the traditional Nihkai and Engagement gathered to celebrate the couple.
As always, Feferity Media Group was there to bring you all the juices bits in stunning pictures and video.
